Alison is a board certified advanced practice psychiatric nurse specialist who served as a fellow with Harvard-Vanguard Medical Associates where she conducted individual, couples and family therapy as well as receiving medication management supervision with Harvard trained physicians.   She is a gifted medical professional who has been serving in the healthcare field for 20 years.  Her areas of specialty are working with adults recovering from trauma, depression and anxiety as well assisting people with grief and transitional life issues.  She has extensive experience working with adults dealing with OCD and substance abuse issues.  She is a maternal child and health nurse with 20 year history working in labor and delivery and women’s health and has instructed nursing students for the past 10 years.  Her healthcare experience has broadened her understanding of the importance of addressing client’s needs from emotional, physical and spiritual levels to promote wellness.  She is a health advocate who has worked to develop and implement several health care initiatives at the state level which have enabled children, teens and families obtain better healthcare and nutritional services to improve the quality of life.  Insurances accepted: BCBS, PPO United Behavioral Health. 

Tammy L. Garceau, LICSW, CIMI

Tammy is a graduate of Boston College School of Social Work, and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.  Tammy is skilled in treating depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, divorce and loss issues, post-partum depression and attachment challenges, as well as behavioral concerns in children and adolescents.  She is a Level I and II Certified EMDR Therapist and a Certified Infant Massage Instructor.  In addition to private practice, Ms. Garceau gained experience as a public school social worker, the Clinical Supervisor for a day treatment program for emotionally and behaviorally challenged populations, as well as a Mental Health Manager for an Early Head Start and Head Start program. Tammy is an active member of The National Association of Social Workers, and was a presenter at the 2004 NASW Convention.  She served on The Board of Directors for The RI Association for Infant Mental Health, and presented in December of 2005 at The New England Head Start Annual Conference. Tricia received her Masters Degree in Mental Health from New York Institute of Technology and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Rhode Island and Florida.  She is EMDR Level II Certified, and has been trained by the Mind / Body Medical Institute at Harvard Medical School.

Wendy  is a licensed marriage and family therapist in Rhode Island and Connecticut.  She received her bachelor and Masters' Degrees from The University of Rhode Island.  She received her Life Coaching Certificate from Mentor Coach.  She is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and is an AAMFT approved supervisor in training.  In addition to providing counseling and life coaching services, Wendy also teaches at the University of Rhode Island. She serves as the Clinical Coordinator of Ledyard Youth Services in Ledyard CT and provides school based services for students in grades 1-12.  Wendy has created and facilitated several programs including Couples & Money, Parenting Teens, Helping Your Children Cope with Divorce, the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, Children of Divorce and Separation, Children of Military Families, and more.  Wendy is passionate about Counseling and Life Coaching to work with clients achieve their desired goals.   Insurances accepted:  BCBS, Tri- Care Standard.

Yolanda is a graduate of Simmons College, Boston, Ma and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. Yolanda specializes in the treatment of depression, post partum depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationship difficulties, life transitions, co-dependency, and stress management. She has expertise in working with couples as well as individual s; serving older adolescents and adults. Yolanda has also worked in various clinical settings including inpatient, partial hospital and outpatient mental health. In her present practice, Yolanda uses both cognitive-behavioral and interpersonal therapy approaches in the treatment of adults (men and women) and families. Jessyca has 20 years experience helping individuals cope with a variety of mental health and addiction issues including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, trauma, and eating disorders. Jessyca has worked as a Clinician, a Clinical Supervisor, and a Director in a variety of community mental health outpatient settings in Greater Boston and Rhode Island. Jenn is a graduate of Lesley University and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Her practice is comprised of adults, adolescents and children for individual and family therapy.  She works with client’s experiencing difficulties with depression, anxiety, behavior and mood disorders.  Jenn specializes in working with adolescents and children.  Jenn supports clients in honest, direct, empathetic and encouraging ways to identify and create opportunities to improve their approach to life and their well-being. Audrey is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, and a Licensed Dietitian/ Nutritionist for the State of Rhode Island.  Audrey is skilled in developing diets tailored specifically to your needs.  In addition to developing personal programs for individuals, Audrey gained experience as a Women, Infant & Children’s Program coordinator where she developed therapeutic diets, provided nutritional education classes for the local schools, coordinated nutrition services for the Diabetes clinic, designing prenatal programs, and weight reduction programs. Audrey also acted as a liaison with the Department of Health.  Audrey utilizes a personal and enthusiastic approach to her practice. Clients, individual or group, are given tools designed for them that will increase nutritional knowledge.   Audrey also stresses that a successful program involves mind, body and soul.  Audrey currently accepts Blue Cross.  Private pay and sliding scale also available.
